Refund & Return Policy

1. Overview

Because Hey Teen deals in personal care / hygiene products, most items cannot be returned or refunded once sold — due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards. However, we do offer remedies (replacement or refund) for items that arrive damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect.

 

2. Eligibility for Replacement / Refund

You are eligible for a free replacement or refund only if:

  • The item is defective, damaged, expired, or incorrect (i.e. you received a different product than ordered).
  • You notify us within 3 days from the date of delivery.
  • The item is unused and in its original packaging (if the issue is visible damage or defect).

Items that are used, opened, or consumed are not eligible for return or refund, except in the case of manufacturing defects.

 

3. How to Initiate a Return / Claim

  1. Contact us at support@heyteen.com within 3 days, with your order numberphotographs of the defect/damage/incorrect item, and a brief description of the issue.
  2. If the return is approved, we will send you return shipping instructions (and label, if applicable).
  3. Do not send items back without prior authorization — unauthorized returns may be rejected.

4. Returns Not Accepted / Non-returnable Items

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds in these cases:

  • Products that have been used, opened, or partially consumed (unless defective)
  • Custom, personalized, or special-order items
  • Sale items, clearance items, or promotional products
  • Gift cards

If you have a concern about a specific item, please reach out to us and we’ll assess it on a case-by-case basis.

 

5. Exchanges

If you simply want a different variant (e.g. different scent, shade), the fastest route is:

  1. Make a new purchase of your desired variant.
  2. Return the original item (if eligible), following the process above.

6. Refunds

  • Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you whether your refund request is approved.
  • If approved, refund will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days (or as per payment provider processing times).
  • If 15 business days pass after approval and you don’t see the refund, contact us at support@heyteen.in.

7. Exceptions for Some Regions (if applicable)

If required by law (for example, in certain jurisdictions), customers may have a cooling-off period (e.g. 14 days) during which they can return items for any reason — provided the items are unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

 

8. Inspection on Delivery / Damages

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt.
  • If there is visible damage, defect, or wrong item, contact us immediately (within 3 days) so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
